Amecor to harness FSK Electronics and
Sabre Networks power as one entity

JOHANNESBURG, 5 DECEMBER – Leading smart security technology provider Amecor has announced that it has consolidated its two businesses, FSK Electronics and Sabre Networks into one entity.

FSK Electronics and Sabre Networks have been industry leaders in home and business security technology for nearly three decades, growing from a small startup to being a leader in smart security technology and networks in South Africa.

Grant Fraser, who took over as CEO of Amecor earlier this year explains that, “Consolidating these two businesses enables us to leverage their complementary services more efficiently and effectively. The result of which will allow our customers to benefit from collaborative innovation and the accelerated development of new products and services. To deliver the level of innovation and customer service we believe in offering our customers, we needed to harness the power of both operations to deliver impressively and seamlessly to the security companies we serve. “

Amecor is owned by global private equity investor The Carlyle Group. The leadership team has strengthened its strategic focus to ensure that its service to customers maintains its exceptional standards while enhancing its smart security technology offering.

The persistent levels of crime that impacts many South Africans on a daily basis requires the team at Amecor to continually focus on delivering smart technology. “It’s critical that we are able to respond and innovate in an agile way to deliver new solutions into the market. We were the first security technology provider to offer the management of the networks used to get an alarm signal to go from a home or business to a security command centre or control room. We will continue to develop and improve our technology, of which mobile apps form an important part, to ensuring our clients in the security sector are in a position to offer multiple solution options to their customers”

Amecor’s leadership team comprises Grant Fraser (CEO); Claire Halliday (CFO); Guy Williamson (CTO); Jeandré Koen (COO) and Natasha Loubser (Executive: Business Development).
